SYNONYM(S): Polyptychus springerae Clark, 1936 .

DISTRIBUTION: Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka , in Lusaka Province; Kalambo Falls , Abercorn [now Mbala], in Northern Province .

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Unknown.
