DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Cabo Verde, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Réunion, Sao Tome & Principe, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia,

Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: ‘Lusaka’, in Lusaka Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include: five Rosaceae species (i.e. Prunus persica (L.) Batsch, P. domestica L., P. armeniaca L., Malus domestica Borkh. and Pyrus sp. ), one Sapindaceae species ( Pappea capensis Eckl. & Zeyh. )

and one Rutaceae species ( Citrus sp. ) in South Africa ( Prinsloo & Uys 2015); one Sapindaceae species

( Pappea capensis Eckl. & Zeyh ) in Zimbabwe ( Pinhey 1960); and one yet to be identified Sapindaceae species ( Pappea sp. ), one yet to be identified Oleaceae species ( Jasminum sp. )and one yet to be identified

Malvaceae species ( Grewia sp. ) in unnamed African or African countries ( Pinhey 1975). In addition to this, the following are reported as larval food plants by the African moths webpage; one Oleaceae species

( Jasminum multipartitum Hochst. ), three Sapindaceae species ( Sapindus saponaria L., Deinbollia oblongifolia Radlk. and D. pinnata Schumach. & Thonn. ), one Malvaceae species ( Grewia occidentalis

L.), one Fabaceae species ( Acacia sp. ), one Myrtaceae species ( Eucalyptus sp. ) and one Myrtaceae species ( Leptospermum laevigatum (Gaertn.) F.Muell. ).
