COMMON NAME (S): Underwing. SYNONYM(S): Noctua punctularis Ḩbner, 1808. IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE). DISTRIBUTION: Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, Réunion, Seychelles, Somalia, Uganda, Zambia. LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Petauke in East Luangwa district, Eastern Province. LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include the yet to be intentified Rubiaceae species ( Coffea sp. ) and Convolvulaceae species ( Ipomoea sp. ), Rice, Oryza sativa L. ( Poaceae ) and two Pinaceae species namely, Pinus radiata
