Plectrocnemia geniculata corsicana Mosely 1932

Distribution. Plectrocnemia geniculata ( McLachlan 1871) is a West Palaearctic species; five subspecies can be distinguished ( Neu et al. 2018). The subspecies P. g. corsicana, is distributed on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia (Lodovici & Valle 2020a), it has been recorded in Morocco by Bouzidi (1989) and Hajji et al. (2017), and in Tunisia and Algeria by Malicky & Lounaci (1987). This species was collected at only one site at 916 m a.s.l.
