p. 611: Augyles crinitus Kiesenwetter, 1850 (Heterocerus) ; add E: PL. Distribution: Poland ( Twardy 2018).

p. 611: Augyles flavidus P. Rossi, 1794 (Scarabaeus) ; require confirmation E: CT A: ES FE WS.

In Russia, this centralasiatic-europeo-mediterranean species occurs only in the extreme south of European part and Caucasus ( Sazhnev & Shapovalov, 2016; Sazhnev 2018). The records for most part of Siberia (species is possible in the southwest West Siberia) and the Far East are, in my opinion, erroneous and require confirmation.

add Augyles gerdmuelleri Skalický, 2010 add A: KI.

Distribution: Kyrgyzstan ( Skalický 2010)

p. 611: Augyles hispidulus Kiesenwetter, 1843 (Heterocerus) ; add E: BY CT ST.

Distributed in Europe, Middle East, Central Asia (Mascagni 2003, 2006, 2016). Records from the south Siberia and the Russian Far East ( Jacobson 1913; Egorov 1989; Kirejtshuk 2001) should be attributed to other species of the Augyles cribratellus species group sensu Charpentier (1965) ( Sazhnev 2018b).

The record of this species from Issyk-Kul hollow in Kyrgyzstan ( Ovchinnikov 1996) require verification ( Litovkin & Sazhnev 2018).

This species is known from Europe, Caucasus, Middle East ( Zaitsev 1946; Mascagni 2016; Sazhnev & Shapovalov 2016). The record of A. sericans from Fergana Valley in Kyrgyzstan ( Ovchinnikov 1996) as well as other records of this species from Central Asia (e.g. Jacobson 1913) are doubtful ( Litovkin & Sazhnev 2018).

Type material of Augyles scutellatus ( Motschulsky, 1854) was studied by F.A. Zaitsev (1946) and this taxon was synonymized with A. sericans . Since Augyles vitticollis (Reitter 1884) is a junior synonym of Augyles scutellatus ( Mascagni 2016), both taxa should be referred to synonyms of Augyles sericans .
