13. Notylia bisepala Moore (1895: 478) View in CoL . Notylia acutata S.Moore , in sched.
Type:— BRAZIL. Mato Grosso do Sul: Corumbá [“Santa Cruz”], September 1891, S. M. Moore 387 (lectotype, designated here: BM barcode BM 00092306!).
Notes: — Moore (1895) described N. bisepala by reporting two samples, under numbers 387 and 511, that were collected by him in Brazil as types. In the herbaria BM and K, two samples were found corresponding to 511 and, in BM, one sample corresponding to 387. Moore 387 is designated here as a lectotype because it is the specimen with the most leaves and flowers and best represents the species as described by the author in the protologue.
Additional material examined:— Mato Grosso: Corumbá [“ Santa Cruz de Corumbá”], October 1891, S. M. Moore 511 (syntypes: BM barcode 000534546!, K barcode K 000586291 fragment!).
