"Long. 37, diam. 15.5 mm."; figured specimen herein H 36.6, D 16.8, W 6.6.

Type material.

NHMUK 1907.11.21.120, lectotype; 1907.11.21.121, one paralectotype (da Costa coll.).

Remarks.

da Costa did not mention on how many specimens his description was based. The reference of Breure (1979) to "HT 1907.11.21.120" has to be interpreted as a lectotype designation under Art. 74.6 ICZN. This taxon is now considered to be a junior subjective synonym of Bulimus convexus Pfeiffer, 1855 (syn. n.).
