Distribution.

Widespread in Peninsular Malaysia ( Maassen 2001). Elsewhere, native to tropical Africa but now pantropical ( Fontanilla et al. 2014).

Remarks.

Large shell. Tall-spired with distinct stripes or flammulations. This is a synanthropic species.
