Taxonomy. The general characters for the subfamily Coleoscirinae Den Heyer, 1978 are gnathosoma rather large, the five-jointed palps may or may not reach the hypostome’s apex with the tibiotarsus. Chelicera with seta present or absent. All coxae bearing three setae; however,coxa I possessing an additional peg-like seta (pe). The chaetotaxy of telofemora I–IV is

5-5-4-3 simple tactile setae (sts). Idiosomal plates vary from few and poorly developed to many and strongly sclerotised ( Den Heyer 1978, Den Heyer and Castro 2008; Skvarla et al. 2014).
