Fernald (1903: 325) listed this name for an unrecognisable species, while Lindinger (1932a: 223) assigned it to the Aleyrodoidea, as Aleurodes [sic] asari (Schrank) . Current status: Aleyrodes asari (Schrank) (Family Aleyrodidae ) ( Martin et al., 2000; Martin & Mound, 2007).
