Diagnosis. This species is very similar to A. samboides  by the body size and by the pattern of elytral pubescence; see diagnosis of A. samboides  .

Length. 4.0 mm.

Type series. Agrilus coraeboides Kerremans, 1900  . Lectotype, designated by Jendek (2003): Ƥ, BMNH: “ SYNTYPE [p] [round label with blue border] \ Sumatra Weyers [Kerremans' MS] \ coraeboides Kerr.  Type [Kerremans' MS] \ Kerremans 1903 – 59 [p]”. Paralectotypes: 2 Ƥ ( BMNH). Described from three specimens. Type locality. Sumatra, Hindrapoera et dans les environs.

Specimens examined. Known only from the type specimens.

Distribution. Sumatra.

Remarks. Male is unknown.
