Microparmarion andamanica Collinge, 1901 View in CoL

Microparmarion andamanica Collinge, 1901b: 17, 18, pl. 1, figs 7-10. Type locality: North Andaman [error]. Schileyko 2011: 35.

Microparmarion annamica Collinge, 1901a: 120. Type locality: Mekong Valley, Annam [correct type locality].

Distribution.

Laos and probably in Vietnam ( Schileyko 2011).

Remarks.

The correct type locality of this species should be "Mekong Valley, Annam" (see Collinge 1901a). No material of this species was found, and the species was figured in Collinge (1901b: pl. 1, figs 7, 8, see Fig. 17J). Schileyko (2011) attributed the type locality (Mekong Valley) to Laos, whereas Collinge (1901b) also mentioned “Annam” which is the old name for Vietnam. Thus, the occurrence of this species in Laos is questionable.
