Material examined: 2  (1 specimen ex larva), Malaysia, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Ulu Gombak Field Studies Centre , 1989-04-30, dead bamboo stem, leg. D. KOVAC .

Habitat: Water-filled internodes of living or dead bamboo

culms.

Host plant: Gigantochloa scortechinii .

Distribution: Malaysia (Sabah), only known from one

male ( RUTA & YOSHITOMI, 2010).
