Neocanthidium bokermanni Martínez et al., 1964: 168 View in CoL [type species of the subgenus Neocanthidium View in CoL by original designation; transferred to Canthidium (Canthidium) View in CoL by Martínez & Halffter (1986a: 26); here retransferred to the revalidated and now subgenus Neocanthidium View in CoL ]. Type locality: Argentina: Tucumán: Burruyacu, km 5 of road from Burruyacu to San Ramón. Type material: Holotype male (MACN—ex Martínez collection); see full list of paratypes in Martínez et al. (1964: 171). Distribution: Bolivia and Argentina (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
