Type locality: Colombia: Cundinamarca: La Mesa and Paime, and Antioquia: San Carlos (“Von Paime und La Mesa, die Varietät von S. Carlos”). Type material: Location of syntypes unknown. Distribution: Colombia and Venezuela (Martínez & Halffter 1986a).
