Taxonomy: Serène and Soh (1976), Chen and Sun (2002). Type: Presumably lost. Type locality: Hong Kong. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean to South China Sea: Palk Strait, Phuket ( Thailand), Singapore, Gulf of Thailand, the Philippines and South China ( Chen and Sun 2002). Habitat: Subtidal; substrates soft mud, sandy mud or sandy shelly, depths 6 to 27 m ( Chen and Sun 2002).
