Taxonomy: CGS Tan and Ng (1999), Naruse (2005), Shih et al. (2015).

Type: Holotype ñ USNM 61876 About USNM . Type locality: Liuwudian (as Liuwutien), Fujian, China.

Distribution: East Asia: South China and Ishigaki, Ryukyus ( Dai and Yang 1991; Naruse 2005; Hsueh and Ng 2008).

Habitat: Intertidal; on mudflats.

Type locality: Koh Chang, Thailand.

Distribution: South China Sea: Gulf of Thailand and South China ( Manning and Morton 1987).

Habitat: Intertidal; commensal in burrows of sipunculid Siphonosoma cumanense (Keferstein, 1867) , polychaetes Ochetostoma erythrogrammon Leuckart and Rüppell, 1828 and Listriolobus sorbillans (Lampert, 1883) , and holothurian Patinapta ooplax (von Marenzeller, 1882) ( Morton and Morton 1983; Manning and Morton 1987; Anker et al. 2005; Kosuge 2009).
