Current name: Allium sphaerocephalon L. subsp. sphaerocephalon View in CoL ( Liliaceae / Alliaceae ).

Note: Although de Wilde-Duyfjes (in Taxon 22: 84. 1973) treated a Micheli collection (FI) as the lectotype, this collection was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name. Consequently, Stearn & Özhatay’s subsequent choice of a Clusius plate as type is accepted here.
