( Figs 22, 23 View FIGURES 21–25 , 34–42 View FIGURES 34–42 )

Description. In structure and coloration similar to T. iridescens sp. n. First metatarsomere with only 2 short macrosetae in the middle row ventrally.

Coloration ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 21–25 ). General coloration of head and body with legs ochre yellow, except wide transverse black stripe below ocelli. Forewing costal margin black; costal cell almost completely grey blackish; anterior discal cell grey blackish proximally. Veins of corium dark brown (CuA and CuP) to black (R and M). Claval veins light brown yellowish. Abdominal sternite III brown yellowish, sternites IV–VII black, with yellow hind margins, sternite VIII black. Genital valve brown yellowish. Subgenital plates dark brown to black, except brown yellowish basal parts. Abdominal tergites black, with yellow hind margins.

Male genitalia ( Figs 23 View FIGURES 21–25 , 34–42 View FIGURES 34–42 ). Anal tube wide and long, narrowing apically (in dorsal view) ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 34–42 ), with one large rounded and apically dentate process on each side (in lateral view) ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 34–42 ). Pygofer lobes triangular, apices elongate and narrow, without processes. Genital valve with weakly concave hind margin ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 34–42 ). Subgenital plates wide and long, narrowing subapically (in ventral view) ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 34–42 ), each with short row of seven thick setae apically and with hair-shaped sparse microsetae on most of ventral surface and area of hair-shaped short setae subapically and row of long hair-shaped setae on outer margins wrapped inward. Connective short and wide ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 34–42 ). Style with apical part narrowing to sharp apex and with four subapical setae ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 34–42 ). Aedeagus asymmetrical, with narrow, s-shaped shaft (in lateral view) ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 34–42 ), with pair of short curved apical processes extended anterolaterad; gonopore near shaft middle. Aedeagal shaft with short process on right side in proximal half ( Figs 39, 40 View FIGURES 34–42 ).

Total length. 8.0 mm.

Etymology. The species name refers to the black abdominal segments.

Type material. Holotype: male, “ Vietnam, Tram-Lap / 20 km N Kannack / 25.XI.1988 / A. V. Sharkov leg.”.

Distribution. Central Vietnam: Gia Lai Province.

Differential diagnosis. The new species is close to T. kabakovi sp. n. based on the s-shaped aedeagal shaft, but clearly distinguished by the medial gonopore and the presence of single lateral process on the aedeagal shaft.
