Current name: Tragia plukenetii Radcl. View in CoL - Sm. ( Euphorbiaceae ).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “hastatum” in the protologue.

See comments by Prain (in Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1918: 64. 1918) and Radcliffe-Smith (in Polhill, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Euphorbiaceae : 296. 1987), neither of whom formally typified the name. The only original material appears to be the cited Plukenet plate.
