Material examined. CAR. Dzanga-Ndoki NP, Lake 1, 24–25.II.2012 (light), SANGHA2012 Team (1♂) ( BMPC) .

Distribution. T. smaragdina is present in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic; according to Massa (2017b) records from other countries of West Africa may be referred to other species of the group.
