Material examined. Holotype ♂, BOLIVIA, Cochabamba, E. Cochabamba, cloud forest, 1400m, 17º8’52’’S 65º42’54’’W, 1–6.II.1999, F[light] I[nterception] T[rap], F. Génier. col. ( CNCI).

Diagnosis. MALE ( Fig. 77 ). Black. Mandible with five apical teeth ( Fig. 78 ). Clypeus with rounded median lobe. Antennal scrobe wholly carinate. Frons polished. Vertex broadly convex. Pronotal disc with anterior corner acute; anterior carina sharp, high, evenly arched forward; median carina absent; lateral margin not carinate; posterior margin not followed by series of foveae. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove wide; anterior fovea subrounded; upper fovea ovoid; lower fovea with upper margin mostly absent, lower margin undefined on posterior two thirds ( Fig. 79 ). Genitalia ( Figs 80, 81 ): paramere long, base narrow, apex rounded; cuspis divided into two arms, dorsal arm shorter and wider than ventral arm; aedeagus progressively narrowing apically, ventral surface with conspicuous projection ventrad; apodeme with base curved outward. FEMALE unknown.
