Examined type material. Zimbabwe (labelled as S Rhodesia), Bembesi, 2.I.1913, leg. G. Arnold, 2 syntypes TMSA, 1 specimen designated herewith as lectotype.

Lectotype designation. The description was based on an unspecified number of syntypes. Therefore, a lectotype was designated in order to fix a single name-bearing type.

Remarks. See also under Cossyphodes naukluftensis sp. n. from Namibia below.

Type locality. “Bembesi”.

Distribution. Zimbabwe.
