Erythrodiplax umbrata View in CoL (L., 1758)
We found both nymphs and adults on St. Thomas in all the same places as E. berenice . Adults are black with a dark (black to brown) distal wing band. Donnelly (2002) consolidated records from St. Thomas and St. John, reporting it as common around stock ponds. Ramírez et al. (2020) reported this as the most abundant species in their surveys from Puerto Rico.
