The only known hosts are Solanaceae and include tomato, Capsicum spp. , and wild Solanum VSS. (:KLWH & (OVRQ‒ +DUULV Î994). $V LQ WKH FDVH RI WKH 0DVFDUHQHV, LW LV QRW FOHDU ZKHWKHU N. cyanescens has been introduced accidentally to the Comoros or has been present there for a long SHULRG SULRU WR GHWHFWLRQ.7KLV VSHFLHV ZDV DOUHDG\ REVHUYHG LQ D WRPDWR SORW DW.DZpQL, 0D\RWWH LQ Î99ϭ (4XLOLFL Î99ϭ) DQG PHQWLRQHG IURP WKH ³8QLRQ GHV &RPRUHV´ E\.DV‒ sim and Soilihi (2000).
