In addition to its occurrence on Grande Comore (see material examined), it is probably also found on Mayotte (see discussion on type PDWHULDO LQ: KLWH (ƻθθϭ)). 7 KHUH LV D VLQJOH NQRZQ UHFRUG RI D PDOH LQ D FXH ‒ OXUH WUDS, EXW DWWUDFWLYHQHVV WR WKLV OXUH UHTXLUHV FRQ ¿UPDWLRQ. 1 R KRVW UHFRUGV DUH NQRZQ, EXW LWV closest relative, D. demmerezi , attacks Cucurbitaceae .
