Material examined. Total of 250 (249 adults, 1 larva) specimens collected mostly from Bougainvillea sp., Acacia salicina Lindl. , Casuarina equisetifolia L., Pistacia lentiscus and N. oleander at 7 localities: Caleta de Fuste (13. II.2017, 30.III.2017), Costa Calma (30.IX.2016, 08–09.II.2017, 12.II.2017, 13.III.2017, 22.III.2017, 27.III.2017), Jandia (30.09.2016) , Lajares (10.02.2017), La Lajita (13.II.2017, 23.III.2017), La Pared (30.09.2016, 26.III.2017, 04–07.VIII.2017, 03.VIII.2017), and Tarajalejo (24.III.2017) .

Distribution. An Australian species spread throughout the world ( Kairo et al. 2013). New to Fuerteventura. Reported earlier from other Canary Islands except Fuerteventura and Lanzarote ( Eizaguirre 2007; Oromí & Báez 2010).
