Genus Hylopachyiulus Attems, 1904

Pachyiulus (Hylopachyiulus) Attems 1904: 183 (described as a subgenus)

Micropachyiulus —Verhoeff (1908: 459–461) (considered as Micropachyiulus sensu stricto)

Hylopachyiulus— Attems (1926: 257) (considered as a genus)

Type species: Pachyiulus pygmaeus Attems, 1904 accepted as Hylopachyiulus pygmaeus ( Attems, 1904) (by monotypy).

Diagnosis. Small (± 13 mm), depigmented pachyiulinines ( Figs 1A , 3A , 4A , 6A , 7A ). Head with two frontal setae ( Figs 1B , 3B , 4 B–C, 6B, 7B). Mandibles in males not modified. Legs without ventral pads. Promere simple ( Fig. 8A, C, E ), basal half posteriorly with mesal and lateral lobes, distal half posteriorly with a thin lamellar denticulate ridge. Posterior gonopods ( Fig. 8B, D, F ) without fovea. Mesomeral process shorter than the rest of the posterior

gonopods. Opisthomeral lamella well-developed, hyaline, and spoon-shaped, with a strongly serrated apical margin and dense setae on the mesal surface. Solenomere delicate, with a short and thin tip.
