Material examined. Kuwait: 1 specimen (not sexed, damaged), KISR, Al-Khiran, leg. M. Al-Kandari et al., 05.i.2015 .

General distribution. Indo-West Pacific from the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf to French Polynesia ( Komai et al. 2019; present study).

Ecology. Intertidal and shallow subtidal; typically associated with algae and seagrass.

Remarks. Although the single Kuwaiti specimen is heavily damaged, the characteristic shape of the ambulatory pereiopods and rostrum leaves no doubt as to its identity. The species is newly recorded from Kuwait, as well as the entire Arabian Gulf.
