Material examined. 1 male, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, 10 Jul. 2003, coll. Xiao-Li Liu.
Redescription. Male. Stridulatory area of left tegmen roughly triangular, 2.98 mm long, 1.81 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 C); stridulatory file on underside of left tegmen concave and slightly curved, 1.58 mm long; teeth slightly dense in basal quarter; with about 132 teeth ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 D, 11B); mirror roughly oval, 3.15 mm long, 1.85 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 D). Cerci long, surpassing apex of subgenital plate ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 G); baso-interal side expanded; strongly curved inwards in apical quarter; apex with a wide, slightly curved, sclerotized tooth ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 I). Phallus with two pairs of complex sclerites: lateral sclerites long, apex denticulated and strongly curved inwards, medial sclerites divided into dorsal and ventral lobes, both lobes widely spaced, dorsal lobe with apical margin denticulated. Subgenital plate curved dorsally before middle; lateral carinae distinct on ventral surface; basal part broad, medial area narrow and apical part widen slightly, apico-lateral margins deviating, posterior margin excised widely, bottom of excision nearly straight, apico-lateral projections narrow ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 H).
Measurements (mm). Male. Body: 14.0; body with wings: 31.5; pronotum: 3.6; tegmen length: 23.0; tegmen width: 4.5; hind wing: 26.5; profemur: 4.0; mesofemur: 5.5; postfemur: 10.5.
