Diagnosis. The species is similar to E. susa ( Kun & Szabóky 2000: 77, figs 24, 40) and E. rectiuga sp. nov. in forewing pattern and genital characteristics. It can be distinguished by the basal half of the flagellum of the antennae with a hair-brush along the posterior margin in the male; E. susa and E. rectiuga sp. nov. lack the hair-brush. It can be further distinguished from E. susa by the juxta with a papillary process on the anterior margin in the male genitalia, and the eighth sternal plate straight on the anterior margin in the female genitalia; in E. susa the juxta lacks a papillary process on the anterior margin, and the eighth sternal plate is oblique on the anterior margin. It can be further distinguished from E. rectiuga sp. nov. by the uncus bilobed at the middle, and the gnathos without a rectangular ridge medially near anterior margin in the male genitalia; in E. rectiuga sp. nov. the uncus is bilobed in the distal 1/3 and the gnathos has a rectangular ridge medially near anterior margin.

Wingspan 19.5–24.5 mm. Forewing pattern similar to that of male. Female genitalia ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 20–23 ) with papillae anales collarlike, densely covered with long setae. Apophyses posteriores slender, as long as papillae anales; apophyses anteriores wide basally, slightly concave inside apically. Eighth sternal plate slightly concave on lateral margin and straight on anterior margin. Antrum more sclerotized anteriorly on dorsal surface. Ductus bursae slender. Corpus bursae narrowed at posterior 1/4.

Distribution. China (Guangxi, Hainan, Taiwan).

Notes. The female of this species is described for the first time.
