Records in Mexico: Guerrero, Jalisco, Coahuila, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Chiapas, Yucatan, Tabasco, Veracruz and Colima.
Biogeographic province: Sierra Madre del Sur. Balsas Basin. Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula. Pacific Lowlands. Chihuahuan Desert.
Habitat: Eichhornia sp. Soil, roots, litter and guano in a cave. Litter of Acahual ( Tithonia diversifolia ). Hematophagous bat guano. Soil (technified production of Mangifera indica ). Bat guano. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Shrubland, Mezquital ( Prosopis glandulosa ); wet grassland, Tular ( Sporobolus / Distichlis ); desert shrub, Larrea ( Larrea tridentata / Fouquieria ); desert shrub, Sotol ( Dasylirion wheeleri ) and Peladero ( Sporobolus ) surrounded by areas of gypsum desert dunes with no vegetation cover. Moss.
