Biogeographic province: Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Yucatan Peninsula. Sierra Madre Oriental. Chihuahuan Desert.
Habitat: Soil, litter and detritus of a cave. Xerophytic vegetation. Soil in coniferous forest. Leaf litter under trees and bushes in a secondary semi-evergreen tropical forest.
