Biogeographic province: Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Yucatan Peninsula. Chihuahuan Desert.
Habitat: Soil, litter and moss, Amaryllis sp. , orchid, ferns plants and bulbs. Soil, litter and moss. Soil and litter of Abies religiosa forest. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Xerophytic shrub, composed mainly of succulents and cacti ( Myrtillocactus geometrizans ).
