Biogeographic province: Transmexican Volcanic Belt. Sierra Madre Oriental. Chihuahuan Desert.
Habitat: Grassland soil and litter. Soil and litter of Abies religiosa forest. Leaf litter ( Pinus cembroides ). Organic matter ( Aquila chrysaetos canadensis nests). Organic matter ( Neotoma mexicana nests). Avocado plantations.
