Homoneura pseudograndis Papp & Gaimari, 2013: 35 . Type locality: China ( Taiwan). Holotype male in HNHM.

Diagnosis. Antenna yellow. Palpus yellow. Hind femur with a row of weak av (only 3 apical bristles distinct). Wing with brown apical spots on R2+3, R4+5 and M1 slightly separating or confluent, entirely extending to tip of vein; basal edge of apical spots on R2+3 at same vertical level of spot on dm-cu, apical spots on R4+5 slightly beyond vertical level of spot on dm-cu; basal edge of apical spot on M1 beyond that on R4+5, about half length of ultimate sections of M1; a brown round spot on R4+5, situated at middle between levels of both cross veins; broad brown cloud on dm-cu. Abdomen yellow to brownish yellow with grayish white pruinosity.

Redescription. MALE. Body length 6.0– 7.7 mm, wing length 6.6–7.8 mm. FEMALE. Body length 6.5–7.8 mm, wing length 6.7–8.0 mm.

Head yellow. Frons with a pair of pale brown median stripe extending to ocellar triangle or absent, about as long as wide and parallel–sided; ocellar triangle brown; oc developed, longer than posterior or. Gena about 1/7 height of eye. Antenna yellow, 1st flagellomere about 1.7 times as long as high; arista black except pale brown base,with ray plumose, longest ray shorter than or as long as height of 1st flagellomere. Proboscis and palpus yellow.

Thorax yellow to brownish yellow, shining or with sparse grayish white pruinosity. Mesoscutum with 0+3 dc (anteriormost dc clearly behind transverse suture), acr in 10 rows, uniformly short hair–like; prsc longer than 1st post–sutural dc. Scutellum yellow. Legs yellow, except tarsi pale brown to brown. Fore femur with 4 strong pv and 6 pd, and ctenidium with 14 short bristles; fore tibia with 1 preapical ad and 1 short apv. Mid femur with 5 a and 1 app; mid tibia with 1 strong preapical ad and 3 strong apv. Hind femur with a row of weak av (only 3 apical bristles distinct) and 1 preapical ad; hind tibia with 1 preapical ad and 1 short apv. Wing ( Fig. 16 ) slightly yellow, with brown apical spots on R2+3, R4+5 and M1 slightly separating or confluent, entirely extending to tip of vein; basal edge of apical spots on R2+3 slightly beyond or at same vertical level of spot on dm-cu, apical spots on R4+5 slightly beyond or at same vertical level of spot on dm-cu, basal edge of apical spot on R4+5 often beyond that on R2+3 (sometimes basal edge of apical spot on R4+5 before that on R2+ 3 in a few of specimens); basal edge of apical spot on M1 beyond that on R4+5, about half length of ultimate sections of M1; a brown round spot on R4+5, situated at middle between levels of both cross veins; broad brown cloud on dm-cu; subcostal cell hyaline; costa with 2nd (between R1 and R2+3), 3rd (between R2+3 and R4+5) and 4th (between R4+5 and M1) sections in proportion of 5.8:1.4:1; r-m before middle of discal cell; ultimate and penultimate sections of M 1 in proportion of 1:1.6; ultimate section of CuA1 about 1/9 of penultimate. Halter yellow (knob pale brown in a few of specimens).

Abdomen yellow to brownish yellow with grayish white pruinosity. Cerci close to subapical or apical part of epandrium Male genitalia ( Figs 195–199 ): syntergosternite circular or semicircular with 1–3 setulae around spiracle; epandrium broad, with 4–7 pairs of weak dorsal setae and anterior ventral corner slightly projecting in ventral view; surstylus (its length variable, figs 195, 195’, 195’’) long, contorted apically or small hook–like with long setulae in lateral view; hypandrium U–shaped with 2–3 acute ventral processes in different length, and hypandrial apodeme indistinct or long; pregonite with two longer processes projecting forward and postgonite with a shorter process, and length of postgonite variable, shorter or longer or just extending to tip of aedeagus; aedeagus narrow apically in ventral view and columnar, broad apically with a deep wide basal concave in lateral view; aedeagal apodeme short or long.
