Fore femur nearly as thick as mid femur; hind femur 1.7 times as thick as mid femur, with row of slightly long thin pv. Mid femur with row of mostly long av and row of very long pv on basal 1/2. Hind femur with 2 long thick av near midlle, about 2 rows of pv spines and row of outer pv. Fore tibia apically with 1 long thick 1 ad and 1 pv. Mid tibia with 3–4 thick or thin ad on basal 1/2; apically with circle of 6 setae including 1 very thick pd and 1 long pv. Hind tibia with 2 ad on basal 1/2; apically with circle of setae including 1 long pd. Fore and mid tarsomere 1 with some long setulae, apically with 1 ad; mid tarsomere 1 with row of ad and pd on basal 1/2; apically with circle of setae. Hind tarsomere 1 with row of long, strong ventral setae and 1 spine-like av near middle. Wing infuscate, dark brown, darker than other Euhybus ; costal vein with longer setae on basal 1/3; dark brown pterostigma long and rounded (about 1/3 as long as cell r 1, not filling apex of cell r 1); veins dark brown to blackish brown. Type material. HOLOTYPE ♂, China: Fujian, Wuyishan, Tongmucun, Guadun [27°44'44.23"N, 117°38'38.43"E, 1033 m], 2021. VI. 22, Qicheng Yang ( CAU). GoogleMaps
Distribution. China (Fujian).
Remarks. The new species is similar to E. sinensis from Guangdong, but may be separated from the latter by legs mostly black and rsur with a narrow median cleft. In E. sinensis , legs are mostly brownish yellow; the rsur has two separate processes and a wider U-shaped median cleft ( Liu et al. 2004).
Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality, Wuyishan.
