Graphina vestita M. Nakan., Kashiw. & K. H. Moon. Type:— THAILAND. Chiang Mai province: Mae Rim district, Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden , on bark of Castanopsis sp. , 860 m, 3 March 1998, K. H. Moon 2295 & H . Kashiwadani ( TNS, holotype, RAMK!, isotype) .

Thallus corticolous, whitish gray to greenish gray, continuous, smooth, corticate, slightly glossy. Lirellae erumpent to prominent, with a apically thick, complete thalline margin, short, up to 3 mm long, straight, curved or sinuous, simple, labia convergent, entire, disc concealed, (illinata- morph). Exciple laterally carbonized; hymenium clear; ascospores 1/ascus, hyaline, becoming slightly brownish with age, densely muriform, 100–135 (–170) × 30–45 μm.

Chemistry: norstictic acid (major), (anal. J. Sutjaritturakan).

Distribution and habitat:—Widespread but rare in Thailand (reported from North Thailand (type locality), NorthEast Thailand ( Sutjaritturakan 2002, as Graphina vestita ) and Central Thailand, see below), where it was collected in mixed deciduous forests between 200 and 800 m.

Remarks:—This species was described as Graphina vestita M. Nakan., Kashiw. & K. H. Moon , but when transferred to the genus Graphis , the epithet is blocked by Graphis vestita Fr. (1825: 288) .

Material from Thailand examined:— Nakhon Ratchasima province: Kaho Yai National Park, Khao Luk Chang site, forest near Khang Khao cave, on trunk of Diospyros dasyphylla , 1999, J. Sutjaritturakan 13741 ( RAMK); dito, behind Lumnum Lam Ta Klong research station, on trunk of Delonix regia , 2000, J. Sutjaritturakan 16191 ( RAMK); dito, on trunk of Mangifera indica , 2000, J. Sutjaritturakan 16224 ( RAMK)— Sara Buri province: Kaho Yai National Park, on the summit of the mountain Khao Hua Chang, on bark of an unidentified tree,, 2000, J. Sutjaritturakan 20447 ( RAMK)— Kanchanaburi province: Sai Yok district, along the trail from the Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum to the Konyu Cutting, on a freestanding deciduous tree, 250 m, 14°21’12’’ N, 98°57’18’’ E, 15 December 2015, J. Sutjaritturakan & K. Kalb s.n. (hb. K. & J. Kalb 41361, 41362).
