Mexico (Mus. Genavense); Colombia. More than one ♀ .
One ♀ syntype with labels: “Peucestes latipennis Sauss. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Holotypus ” [printed on red card]. The species name label in the insect box has the locality “Amér. Cent.” handwritten in the lower left corner. Specimen set with left wings spread and right wings folded; the antennae, the tarsi of the left front leg, the right front leg, left middle leg, the tarsi of the right middle leg, two tarsal segments of the left hind leg and the claw of the right hind leg are missing. The abdomen has been eviscerated and stuffed, presumably at the time of capture. Images on OSF. Box B 26 .
