Orneodes granata Meyrick, 1921: 108 . (Type locality: Magude, [ Mozambique]) syn. nov.

Orneodes imbrifera Meyrick, 1929: 538 . (Type locality: Fort Crampel, [ Central African Republic] syn. nov.

Material examined. 1 ♀ (CUK), Mpatamanga, 26.xii.2008; 4 ♂ (CUK), Mwabvi, 30–31.xii.2008, 1 ♂ (CUK), Mwabvi, 22.xii.2011; 1 ♂, 3 ♀ (CUK), Monkey Bay, 03.i.2009, 1 ♂, 2 ♀ (CUK), 16.xii.2010, Kovtunovich V. & Ustjuzhanin P.; 1 ♀ (CUK), Nkhorongo, 10–15.xi.2009, R. Murphy .

Distribution. Cameroon, Central African Republic, Malawi, Mozambique, Seychelles.

Remarks. We have carefully examinaed the holotype of A.seychellensis and compared it to the holotypes of A. granata and A. imbrifera . In the absence of any differences observed, we consider these taxa belong to the same species. On the basis of this evidence, we synonymize A. granata syn. nov. and A. imbrifera syn. nov. with A. seychellensis .
