Body ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 19 – 24. W ) yellow. Vertex with brown patches at each side of coronal suture which merge to form heart-shaped median patch. Pronotum with two central brown patches at anterior margin; light brown medially; sordid whitish at posterior margin. Scutellum with dark brown basal triangles and rounded central brown patch below transverse depression. Face ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 19 – 24. W ) with gena whitish. Forewing (Fig. 9) brochosome field yellow, area basad with rounded dark brown patch; apical half of cua cell, four apical cells and clavus light brown.

Hind wing (Fig. 10) av extended as continuation of A to CuP.

Male genitalia. Pygofer dorsal appendage (Figs 11, 12) nearly parallel-sided; ventral appendage (Fig. 11) protruding beyond anterior margin of pygofer lobe. Subgenital plate (Fig. 14) bearing two rows of short stout setae along base of outer margin. Aedeagal shaft (Figs 17, 18) with subapical extension dorsad in lateral view and with pair of subapical processes.

Measurement. Male 2.68mm, female 2.58mm.

Remarks. The new species is similar to W. sudra (Distant) , but can be distinguished by the vertex ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 19 – 24. W ) with a heart-shaped patch, forewing with rounded brown patch at the base of the brochosome field, and the aedeagal shaft (Figs 17, 18) with subapical extension dorsad in lateral view and with a pair of subapical processes.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin word “ cordatus ”, referring to the vertex with a heartshaped patch.
