Type: — AFRICA. Tanzania, Usamaro, Vorbergi von Uluyun , 1894, fl., F.L. Stuhlmann 8703 (lectotype, designated here, K barcode 000442483!) .

Syntypes: —AFRICA. Tanzania, Tununguo , 9 October 1894, fl., F.L. Stuhlmann 8671 (syntype B barcode 10 0057933!); AFRICA. Tanzania, Tununguo, 22 October 1894, fl. and fr., F.L. Nomenclatural notes: —When describing C. stuhlmannii, Engler (1900) cited the syntypes Stuhlmann 8671, 8703, and 8968 without specifying the herbarium in which specimens were conserved. Polhill (1964) proposed that F.L. Stuhlmann 8703 deposited in B was recognized as a lectotype. When contacting the curator of this herbarium (Juraj Paule) we were informed that B does not have this specimen, therefore we designated the specimen in Herb. K with barcode 000442483 as the new lectotype of. C. stuhlmannii (ICN Art. 9.3).

Taxonomic notes: —Synonym of C. zenkeri ( Sattarian et al. 2006) .
