Celtis kraussiana var. stolzii Peter (1932: 64) View in CoL .

Type: — AFRICA. Tanzania, 28 November 1912, fr., A. Stolz 1708 (lectotype, designated here, B barcode 10 0057847!; isolectotypes B barcode 10 0057848!, BM barcode 000757265!, C barcode 10001470!, G barcode 00164450!, K barcode 000243036!, L barcode 1585858!, PRE barcode 0783365-0!) .

Nomenclatural notes: —When describing C. kraussiana var. stolzii, Peter (1932) cited the gathering Stolz 1708 and mentioned that the material is in B. Eight samples from Stolz 1708 have been located in seven herbaria. Considering that in B there are two samples and that Peter (1932) did not specify a holotype, we designated the specimen in Herb. B with barcode 10 0057847 as lectotype (ICN Art. 9.3) of C. kraussiana var. stolzii , because this specimen has more leaves and fruits than the other B specimen.

Taxonomic notes: —Synonym of C. africana ( Sattarian et al. 2006) .
