REMARKS: nomen nudum. Rondani (1873a: 326; 1874b: 63; 1877a: 57) listed Leucopis ampellophila as a predator of Phylloxera viticola Fitch, 1855 without providing any description. Rondani (1874b: 63) listed this nominal species as “ ampelophila ”, which is an incorrect subsequent spelling. O’Hara et al. (2011: 206) considered Leucopis ampellophila as an unavailable name.
