TYPE LOCALITY: Ecuador, Esmeraldas, Cachavi, 665 ft. (203 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: N. W. Ecuador, W. Colombia, and Panama.

COMMENT: Includes boquetensis and isthmius ; see Handley, 1966, in Wenzel and Tipton, Ectoparasites of Panama, p. 777. Cabrera, 1961:356, included mimulus in flaviventer ; but see Hall, 1981:440.
