Phthersigena pallidifemur ( Tindale, 1923)

Although originally described as a subspecies of P. unicornis ( Tindale, 1923) , Tindale (1930) later elevated it to species status. This has been overlooked by subsequent authors ( Balderson 1984; Ehrmann 2002); it is here considered a distinct species.
