Notes.

This species has not been included in any phylogenetic analysis, but its foliage, efoliate pseudoracemes and plano-compressed papery fruits leave little doubt that it should be placed in Pseudalbizzia . It is here included in section Pseudalbizzia Paniculata based on these characters and its South American distribution.
