STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on AMS material (AMS I.16664-003). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. South Africa and Madagascar east to Philippines and New Guinea, south to northern Australia. Schooling inshore, estuaries, 0– 55 m. Freshwater, transitional water and marine.
