Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Samin et al. 2011).

General distribution. Central and Southern Europe, North Africa, Israel, Turkey. Biology. Recorded in Iran from Cedrus libani ( Samin et al. 2011) . This species usually attacks Pinus spp . ( Pfeffer 1995), but has been recorded from Cedrus ( Schedl 1959a) .
