Treptoplatypus oxyurus (Dufour, 1843) View in CoL

Distribution in Iran. Iran (no locality cited) ( Knížek 2011).

General distribution. Southern Europe, Turkey.

Biology. This species is unusual in the restriction of its host trees to species of Abies (Pinaceae) ( Pfeffer 1995). The mycangia and associated fungi have been described by Cassier et al. (1996).
